Anita Dixon Thomas is an aspiring author who writes fiction with a real-life twist.
A Clinical Social Worker by day, and a novelist on her spare time, she began writing her debut novel after finding an old journal while cleaning out her closet.
A Seattle native and a movie buff, she loves traveling, cooking, and entertaining friends. Currently residing in the boondocks of Powder Springs, Georgia. Look for her next novel, Leaving Henry...Fall 2024.

Anita's hometown, Steilacoom, WA on Puget Sound inspired her first two fiction novels, She Was A Fly in the Wrong Soup and Strange Occurrences, The Saga Continues...
A honor graduate from the University of Washington, Anita majored in nursing the first three years of college, then the counseling bug hit her and she switched to social work.
Fun Fact: Anita went to journalism school for a semester at the University of Washington, but had to drop out after her daughter was born.
Anita wrote articles for the Seattle Medium Newspaper in the late 1980's. During her tenure she interviewed Jesse Jackson. At the time, he was running for President.
